Transition to High School

Moving On, Kids First’s High School Transition program helps students in Year 6 to become successful secondary students. This innovative program, offered in Terms 3 and 4, offers fun weekly classes that not only reinforce the importance of time management, but also provides an introduction to vital study skills.

Moving On will help your child to develop child skills such as note taking, summarising and writing for a variety of purposes. Reading, writing and listening skills are reinforced with the help of Kids First’s qualified, experienced teachers who will encourage your child to  meet the standards required for a confident start to their secondary schooling.
