Try some of these great websites if you are looking for exciting (and educational) online fun.

Puzzlemaker  
This easy to use site is great for making your child's weekly spelling list fun. Simply add this week's words and create puzzles that will consolidate your child's learning.

ABC Games Centre
This site is part of the Australian Broadcasting Corporation's site, with familiar games including characters from B1 and B2, Rattus, Mixy, Feral TV, the Couch Potato game and more.

Digger and the Gang
This site comes from the BBC and follows the adventures of Digger and his gang. Children aged from 5-11 will have great fun with these interactive games, puzzles and quizzes.

Change maker
This is an educational site from the US that teaches children about their currency and provides practice in calculating how much change they can expect when they spend money. Make sure you click on the Australian flag, unless you want to practice for an overseas holiday! The site has four levels of difficulty, from easy, through to ‘super brain' (for the big spenders!).

Want to create a comic? Drop in to the comic creator! Here you can build your own comic with characters, speech bubbles and background settings.

Scrabble for Kids
Here's an interesting games page for kids! It includes Scrabble Hangman (suitable for upper primary), Scrabble Invader (suitable for lower primary students with good hand eye coordination), which is good to assist letter recognition and Scrabble Snake.

The online home of Dr Seuss fun! With matching games, and puzzles and lots more. Suitable for early readers.

Treasure Kai and The Lost Gold of Shark Island
This site follows the adventures of Kai, the popular boy explorer from the Treasure Kai series of children's books. Here you'll find mazes, colouring pages, word searches and activities. You can send your artwork in for publication and get clues to help you to crack the Treasure Kai code.
