Confident Kindies...
supports Kindergarten children as they begin their educational journey at 'big' school. Continuing on from Kids First's highly successful Confident Little Kids pre-school program, Confident Kindies helps children to consolidate their understanding of phonics, words, early reading and writing skills - as well as developing their competencies across the Kindergarten maths curriculum. Taught by qualified and highly experienced teachers, Confident Kindies is a wonderful way to ensure that your child gets the best possible start to school


Moving On High School Transition program...
helps students in Years 6 and 7 to become successful high school students. Weekly classes reinforce the importance of time management and provide an introduction to study skills. Students develop new competencies as they learn to write for a variety of purposes, take notes, summarise and plan their work to meet the standards required for a confident start to their secondary schooling.

Enrichment Program for Gifted and Talented children...
focuses on providing opportunities for talented primary school students to ‘spread their wings' and to enjoy challenging, stimulating activities that broaden their skills in either writing, english or maths.

NAPLAN preparation...
In May 2010, all children in Years 3 and 5 will participate in NAPLAN. (National Assessment Plan - Literacy and Numeracy) Kids First's preparation workshops, offered in the Easter school holidays, give children the opportunity to revise their skills, receive tutoring, become familiar with the exam format and improve their results in the most important areas that are tested in English and Maths.

Selective Schools and scholarship preparation ...
provides a head start for children in Year 5 who plan to sit for external examinations. Taught in a safe, nurturing environment, students gain an understanding of the standard expected of them and are encouraged to challenge themselves as they improve their skills and knowledge.
